Nach dem großen Erfolg der vergangenen internationalen Kongresse der DGKH möchten wir Sie sehr herzlich zu unserem 10. Kongress im April 2010 wieder nach Berlin in das Russische Haus einladen.

2010 begeht unsere Gesellschaft ihr 20jähriges Jubiläum. Gemäß dem Statut der Gesellschaft veranstaltet die DGKH in zweijährigem Abstand ihren internationalen Kongress und im dazwischen liegenden Jahr eine oder mehrere nationale Symposien bzw. Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen. Anknüpfend an die Tradition der bisher durchgeführten internationalen Kongresse ist es vorgesehen, ausgewählte Rahmenthemen mit fachlich benachbarten Fachgesellschaften und -gremien gemeinsam zu gestalten. Der Vorstand der DGKH ist dankbar, dass sich folgende Gesellschaften bzw. Organisationen in die Vorbereitung und Durchführung des 10. Internationalen Kongresses eingebracht haben: Arbeitskreis Infektiologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Urologie, Arbeitskreis Krankenhaus- und Praxishygiene der AWMF, Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesundheitsdienst und Wohlfahrtspflege, Chirurgische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Qualitätssicherung und Patientensicherheit der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Chirurgie, Gesellschaft für Hygiene, Umweltmedizin und Präventivmedizin, International Society of Chemotherapy, International Society of Skin Pharmacology und International Society for Plasma Medicine. Darüber hinaus werden ebenfalls in bewährter Tradition Workshops zu Fragen der Übertragung krankenhaushygienischer Erkenntnisse in Produkten, Verfahren oder Systemlösungen gemeinsam mit Wissenschaftlern aus der Industrie durchgeführt. Sofern uns schon jetzt Interessenmeldungen zu Workshops vorlagen, wurden diese bereits in das 1. Zirkular aufgenommen.

Schließlich ist ein Kongresssaal für englisch sprachige Teilnehmer vorgesehen, um den internationalen Dialog fortzusetzen. Kongressleitung, Vorstand und die Mitglieder der DGKH werden das in ihren Kräften Stehende tun, um Ihnen einen fachlich interessanten Kongress mit einer die Fachdiskussion inhaltlich begleitenden Industrieausstellung zu bieten.

In the wake of the success of the past International Congresses of the German Society for Hospital Hygiene (DGKH), we would like to invite you to our 10th Congress scheduled to take place in the Russisches Haus in Berlin in April 2010.

In 2010, our Society will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. In line with the statutes of the Society, the DGKH organises its International Congress on alternate years and one or more national symposia and/or continuing education seminars in the intermediary years. In keeping with the tradition of the International Congresses held so far, selected topics will be organised jointly, together with relevant specialist societies and bodies. The DGKH’s management is grateful to the following societies and organisations for becoming involved in the preparation and implementation of this 10th International Congress: the Infectiology Study Group of the German Society of Urology, the Hospital and Surgery Hygiene Study Group of the Association of Scientific Medical Societies, the Professional Association for Health Services and Social Welfare, the Surgical Study Group for Quality Assurance and Patient Safety of the German Society of Surgery, the Society for Hygiene, Environmental Medicine and Preventive Medicine, the International Society of Chemotherapy, the International Society of Skin Pharmacology and the International Society for Plasma Medicine. Moreover, as in the past, workshops on the issues involved in transferring hospital hygiene insights to products, methods or system solutions will be held together with scientists from the industry. Any expressions of interest in workshops we have already received have been included in the first circular.

Last but not least, a congress room for English-speaking participants is being provided so as to ensure the international dialogue flows uninterrupted. The Congress and the DGKH’s management and members will do everything to ensure that the congress is of professional interest to you. In doing so we will ensure that this is a trade show whose outstanding content will enrich the expert speeches being held.
